85 CJ Wiper Motor Link - Any Sources?
I need the small link that runs from the wiper motor to the wiper bars.
Anyone know of a good parts source? I'm also in the market for a YJ
tailgate latch, striker, etc.

Thanks,
Mike

I think you're out of luck. I believe that's supposed to be a non
replaceable part (yes, I know it comes off). I think the only way to
get one is to get a new motor. How'd you come to need one of those anyway?
Here's another idea for you. Go to the junk yard and get all the wiper
guts from a YJ. Put all the YJ wiper guts in your CJ frame. The only
thing you'll have to do is figure out which wires to use because the YJ
motor is a 4 wire instead of the CJ's 3. (I think the extra wire is for
intermittent wipers, but I don't recall for sure)
The YJ's linkage/pivot mechanism is far superior to the CJ mechanism.
If you do this, you'll have a vastly improved linkage that will never
bind up on you like the junky CJ linkages and pivots.

4wd.com sells several wiper motors. That is where I bought my replacement,
but I do remember that a few sites had them.
