2002 GC transmission question
My wife's 2002 GC will suddenly slip into neutral when stopped in
drive. When given a little gas, it will jump into gear suddenly and
drive normally. This problem is very intermittent, and only happens
every couple of days. The car has 40K miles on it (still has
powertrain warranty) and otherwise drives normally. Shifts are precise
and occur when they're supposed to (up and down). The transmission
fluid level is right on the mark. Any ideas?

John-Del did pass the time by typing:

IIRC, there is a recall for that problem. Take it to the dealer.

Re: 2002 GC transmission question
the trans needs to be retrained to learn the clutch volumes
a scan tool is needed
