Stay away from spacer lifts, yes they are cheap but you get what you pay for. Spacer lifts re-use your stock coils and shocks, which are sub par and if more than a few years old are already sagging. Please don't make the same mistakes I already have as you ending up spending more in the long run. Go with new coils and shocks, the ride will be better than it was stock, and won't feel like you're driving a waterbed which it will with a spacer lift.
Best/most popular/ thus most tested lift would be the Frankenlift, which you can purchase from http://www.boulderbars.com as a kit. Or you can piece it together yourself with the following parts.
Front Suspension Modifications
- 2.5" Front Lift by removing factory front strut assembly, re-using the factory strut mount, both top and bottom factory spring isolators, factory clevis, and installing the following parts;
- Rancho RSX 17505 Front Struts -
- OME 927 HD Front Coils -
- Teraflex 1903200 Bump Stops -
Rear Suspension Modifications
- 2.5" Rear Lift by removing factory rear shocks and coils, re-using the factory spring isolators, and installing the following parts;
- JBA-LIB25R Rear Coils - (There are OME coils that will work as well, just don't recall the part #'s off the top of my head)
- Skyjacker Hydro H7088 Rear Shocks - (There are Rancho shocks that will work as well, just don't recall the part #'s off the top of my head)
- 2 Extra Upper Isolators to level out - OEM
- 3 Hockey Pucks added as Bump Stops to the lower coil mounts to prevent over compressing the Rear Coils.
Pictures of parts, and assembly can be seen here.
