Can someone tell me what was used for the front and what for the rear? This is what the invoice says and why is there two different lubricants codes for the second entry?

1 5013477ab sealant
1 vu01497 prts clnr
1 disc surf disc <----What is this?

Re: Had diff fluid changed... need clarification
These are dealer codes. It would be easier to just phone them and ask what they represent.
The front and rear diff use GL5-75W-90 or 140. Additional 4 oz bottle of friction modifier also has to be added to the Limited slip Trac-Lok rear diff if you have one.
The front transfer case uses ATF+4 fluid and should also be changed.
It looks to be the same GL5 gear lube with the friction modifier as the first lubricant part #.

Surface disc is a round 2 or 3 inch in diameter disc that you put on a die grinder to clean and renove any rust, silicone or gasket material left on the differential cover and housing. Making both mating parts clean and ready to install a new gasker or silicone so the differential fluid doesn't leak out.
