Day time headlights stay on
Hello there!
I have 2003 Liberty and came across a problem.
The daytime lights stay on when I turn off the car,I've tried with the a new
relay fuse but still does the same thing, can it possible
be the DLR module toast? And if so where is it located and whats the cost in replacing
the unit.
I'm driving now without the daytime relay fuse and the high beam
Light don't work.
Thanks

Re: Day time headlights stay on
Are you turning off the jeep with the headlight switch on? When you do this the lights will stay on for about 40 seconds. Even if you turn off the Jeep and then turn off the lights they will stay on.

Hi,
I know about the 40sec delay.
The problem I figured it out, it was water dripping near the fuse box
causing moisture..I found the leak and fixed it and the fuse
panel is all dried up and the lights are working all fine for now.
Thanks

Lee,
Pesky water leaks! Did any of the terminals have corrosion set in? I would put a bit of di-electric grease in the contacts if they don't look so good.
Glad to hear the Liberty's fixed now.
