What did you pay for your 2013 JKU?
Hey folks,
New to the forum, and I'm just looking at my options of either ordering a 2013 unlimited, buying one off the lot or finding a 2012 I like on the lot.
I'd like to know what those of you with 2013s paid out-the-door and at what dealer so I can see what kind of negotiating I can do. I've had a few very bad experiences with greasy Chrysler dealers here in Ottawa so I'm definitely not opposed to shopping in or towards the GTA. I'd also like to know the model/options you have so I'm not comparing apples to oranges. I'm leaning towards a JKUR but I could see myself just ordering a Sport and being happy (until I go to upgrade).
I realize that some of you may prefer to hold this info private -- so if anyone would prefer to PM me instead -- either way it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Spend the $25 on carcostcanada.com and you can see the dealer cost. Sometime the dealer will let it go for as little as $500 above cost. I think if you run the options for "speed"'s Rubicon Unlimited through Car Cost Canada you will find be paid <$1,000 above dealer cost.

i was lucky enough to find my 2012 Call of duty sitting in the showroom for months and got a steal of a deal. Basically paid the same as a reg rubicon. Find a 2012 and make an offer. you can easily get it 2000-3000 less than sticker depending on how long its been sitting there and the options/model. Also, shop at the end of the month as the dealers need to make a quota for their bonuses from Chrysler and are more inclined to let them go. Hope this helps.

That's awesome guys, I used that carcostcanada.com tool and it really made quick work of negotiating at the dealer today so thanks for that... butttt I feel like it took a bit of the fun out of it lol, oh well.
I'm aware that the end of the month is the best time to buy, but sadly I'd like to get one before the nice weather hits. Regrettably they only had 2 JKURs on the lot today and the one had leather; which doesn't go well with a 1 year old german shep and me hot-******* around with my shirt off at the cottage; and the other Rubi had the stupid max tow package, dual top and nav -- all of which I don't care for (I can install a class III hitch and do the wiring myself for under $200, and rather than spend $2000 on the dual top group, I have a real crush on the Trektop NX).
So they've quoted me at $34,700 (after $3250 factory discount) to custom order a stick Rubi with just the hard top, automatic A/C, the connectivity group and NAV (because you can no longer order sahara's/rubicon's without it).
What do you guys think?

I actually saw his computer screen where it has the dealer invoice, so I think it's right at cost... could be wrong though if you have a better source than that... which would mean that there is more room for negotiation *evil laugh*
