Default Tiny Surface Rust Spots

Hey guys,

Last night I got my hands on a used hard top for my Jeep, very thrilled to finally have one. Needless to say, the first thing I did once putting the top on was take my filthy jeep through the touchless pressure wash.

When I got home, I inspected the jeep to see how it made out through its first car wash. All in all, it was ok, other than the front license plate pretty much being folded down towards the pavement (lol). Going to need to fit something for this. apparently there is no screws in the top of the license plate on the front?

Anyway, back to the point of this thread.... SO, upon closer inspection, I noticed that I have tiny rust spots all over the sides of my jeep. The Jeep is about 2 months old and I even paid to get some extra rust proofing protection put on (mainly because it made the rust warranty 10 years and I got it for a discounted price). I was just curious if anyone else has noticed this on their newer jeeps? mine is the light sahara tan colour.

Should I be bringing the jeep in to the dealership, or is this something I just wax off in the spring?

Cheers,

Chris

Rust spots, on a 2 month old jeep and you even paid extra for protection. I'm not sure of what this rust looks like, but if your concerned about your baby, I would be bring this up to my dealer.

if your Jeep is a light colour, sometimes the brake dust sticks to the paint and causes rust like spots. Take some wax and try to clean the rust,,,if it's brake dust, it should come off.....if not,,,,,def go to your dealer!
