Currently my jeep is being built. I actually don't even have a jeep yet! But i've been doing alot of research for mods! I ordered a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport S (i plan to replace the shocks and everything, no point getting a sahara for that reason alone for me)

But the biggest problem i think i am going to run into is cargo space. So i saw this really cool cargo tray you can put in and it essentially doubles your floor space. Reduces your ability to put tall items in, but it can be moved and removed easily.

I have a ton of ideas for sure!

You're right about the cargo space - I don't have much at all.

What do you think of lifting Jeeps? It looks cool but are there disadvantages then?
I bought my Wrangler new but haven't done anything to it...but now want to start with new front bumper...then maybe lift.

Did you take the 3.73 axle ratio or did you stick with the standard 3.21? That will really make or break your lift mod. Because you lift it, you want a larger tire right? I'd say a safe lift is around 2.5" - 3" from what I've read. 33" - 34" tire if your using a 3.73 axle ratio. If you increase your tire size to much, you will start to loose power because of that ratio trying to spin the bigass tires.

I still have alot to learn as far as full suspension lifts, but if you want to do it right and be offroad badass. You will be looking at between $1000 - $2000 for a really good heavy duty lift with shock replacement.

Downside to lifts (sometimes) your on road handling and comfort will be a little less, some really expensive kits claim to say they don't. Also raising up your ride to much will increase your center of gravity and increase your chances of tipping. 2.5" - 3" i don't think there will be to much to worry about.

Google tires with 275 width tires, they look really sweet. Standard is 255, but i think wider tires will counter balance the lift in my opinion.

Thanks tool_guy and disconnect, appreciate your help.

I drove by a National 4WD today. Has anyone shopped there? Recommend it?

I believe they are franchise stores, so I cant speak personally about the one in your area, but the one here in Smiths Falls (Ottawa area) is fantastic. Great service. It's pretty much the go-to spot.
