Looking to add a set of factory Mopar side steps to my 2007 JK Unlimited. From the dealer I'm looking at roughly $500. So I had a look on Kijiji and see a set (good shape) for $100 but without the mounting hardware.

Anyone know how much it would cost to get the mounting hardware AND where to buy it in the GTA?

Alternatively does anyone have just any ideas on what bolts/nut/washers (I think it's 3 per side) I could just buy at Home Depot and not need the "kit".

Just be patient. Pick up another set that is complete off kijiji. I see them come and go regularly. There is a set for sale 10 minutes from me in Baden right now. 200 complete. Search "jeep step" under Kitchener Waterloo kijiji if your interested, or shoot me a pm for the phone number.

 

Another idea is if ur not already a member of an offroading club - join one there are always guys modifying their trucks and a side step is one of the first things they remove (or get removed on the trail) you might find one for even less complete.

 

I managed to find a used set. Took the lazy drive out there last week and the guy I bought them from installed them on the spot. I am so happy with my decision to buy a Jeep, the "family" is fantastic.
