Lift my JK with 2.5 Inch Teraflex with 9550 Shocks
Finally lifted my Jeep with the 2.5 Inch Tera Flex with 9550 Shocks.
Before:
After
This was a drive way install. I should've had someone do it for me, but it was a learning experience.
A few things happened to me:
1. Lost some skin on my knuckles.
2. Front shocks were a pain to take off. Ended up snapping the top mount, making the front shocks unsaleable.
3. Passenger side bump stop had to be left off as I could not fit the spring in with it on.
After the install, I test drove the car right after and there was some clunking and clicking and I think I am going to need to take it somewhere to get it all looked at. Also the rear wheel is sticking out more than the passenger side, but drives fine. Can someone point me to a shop that can have a look at this? I would like to take it to Just Jeeps, but they don't open their shops on the weekend, but if I need to, I will take it to them as they have pretty good staff.
Lesson to be learned from this: Find a really flat drive way with really good jack stands. My hydraulic jack as a max lift range of 18-19 inches, but then i realized that the stand only goes up to 16-17 inches. I had air tools which were helpful, but was only used in a couple of place.
If anyone can help me on my clunking and axle issues, please let me know. I would really appreciate it for any referrals.

A properly set track bar will re centre your axle. I think a relocation bracket is available,or if not, the alternative would be to buy an adjustable track bar. Your front axle will be offset too if you only did springs and shocks.

Yes a relocation track bar came with the kit. I think I stuck it in the wrong hole. There's a top hole and bottom hole. The video showed the guy putting it in the top hole but I think it should be the bottom hole. Oh well. It was fun to work on the jeep but I think I am going to leave it to the professionals as I have a few things on the go starting this week.
