Good and Bad News and Questions
Hi All,
Currently in the middle of moving a reno and have had no time for anything (i still have my hard top on and it's killing me.
I'll start with a bad need some advice.
Windsheild is cracked. This is the first time I cracked a windshield. I want to replace, and probably should, but anyone know the cost of replacing it other than through the dealer? I received a quote from my dealer and it's a little less than $500 with labour in. Any referrals to a good shop?
The good....I think I am going to install terraflex 2.5 Inch lift kit with shocks. For those that have done it themselves, how easy/hard is it? I was going to get someone to do it for me, but I would rather I do it myself. Keep in mind, I have no compressor, just hand tools and jack stands.
Let me know....

Call Speedy auto glass ask lots of questions, then tell them you will think about it. WAIT, trust me they will follow up cam call you back, hum and ha, a little bit....I got the down to $275, mobile or shop service.500 is way too high
Check out TF web site, great video on the 2.5 lift install, I have not done this kit myself, so i can't give my 50 cents on doing so.
From all the reading videos, and people I've talked to that HAVE done it...take your time have all the right tools, document before, and SOAK everything down with WD40 or PB Blaster for days prior to the intsall.
Best of luck!

Re: Good and Bad News and Questions
Received my kit and will be installing it on tomorrow. Can someone tell me if my 3 ton floor jacks/stand with a lifting height of 18-19 inches be enough to drop the axle?
