2013 Rubicon delays
Hey guys.... I order a 2013 Rubicon Unlimited back in September and they told me I'm going to get it in November. I got a phone call yesterday and they move the date to mid January
Now......that's bad because I'm already selling the Jeep I have knowing I'm getting my new one.
Anyone in the same boat with me?

Sorry for the delay in getting your new Rubi!
As the manufacturer, we cannot guarantee delivery dates due to the number of variable factors in lead time for production and transportation.
Your dealer is your best contact for updates but if you want, send me a PM with your name and the name of your dealer and I can take a look in to it for you.
Can't guarantee a better ETA but can hopefully get you some additional info.

I ordered a Sahara 2013, Billet, on Aug. 15 and dealer says still not even built... I realize the manufacurer can not guarantee a delivery date, but by the time this is delivered I will be lucky to see it by December which in my book is really poor service.
My Jaguar only took 8 weeks to arrive and it was built fresh in the U.K..
I note that many of the folks on the U.S. forums have their Sahara - Billets, in around 8 weeks or less, and I am really happy for those folks as they are really excited to receive their jeeps..... how come Canada is so far behind.? Or is this just my imagination.
This whole experience really turns what should be a good experience to a really poor one.

I agree with you mulmur. Jeep Canada should read and listen to our problems and concerns and do something about it.

I'm still waiting additional info from Jeep Canada
This is going to be my first Christmas without a Jeep. That's bad!....
It would be a great Christmas present from Jeep Canada if they send me my Jeep....

I just wanted to let you all know that we are listening. However, as I’ve stated before, we cannot guarantee delivery dates due to the number of variable factors in lead time for production and transportation. Your dealer is your best point of contact as they are providing the most up to date information available pertaining to your orders. That being said, seeing as there are a few of you on here waiting for your '13's, I will research this and see if I can shed a little bit more light for you all. Going forward, I will only post again on this thread if/when I have any new info.

I ordered the 2011 Sahara that I had... the wait was not pleasant. I've since traded it in on a 2012 Rubicon which I got the dealer to bring it in from another dealer. 2 days of waiting.,. MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE!!
I it makes you feel better... they say good things come to those who wait - especially for Jeeps. OK, I added the last part. Hang in there.
