2012 front drive shaft/lift kit issue?
About to install a Terraflex 2.5" spring/shock lift on my 2012 Rubicon. After reading the article below, I'm now all worried I need a drive shaft and stuff.-
Is this a real issue or is it just scare tactics to sell drive shafts?
I've sent an email to Terraflex but no answer yet.-

Less expensive mod you can make to your exhaust system to avoid the driveline to rub. Check this out by Teraflex. TeraFlex Install: 2012 JK Updated Exhaust Spacer Kit

Here is the reply email I just received from Teeraflex.
'Ok so with the 2.5 inch kit on the 2012 jk you will actually be just fine on the drive shaft, there will be more ware on it faster due to the increase angle but its not like its something that needs replacing right away.- On mine i ran the stock shaft till it went bad 2 years later then i went ahead and replaced it with the cv style.- I would say run the stock till it goes bad and you will be surprised how much life you get out of it.'
Hmmmmm.. Guess I'm good to go for 2 years..

Re: 2012 front drive shaft/lift kit issue?
Oddly enough I installed the new AEV 2.5" lift and no exhaust mod was needed and no mention of having to replace the driveshaft. Guess I will just wait to see how long the drive shaft lasts. Why replace it if it isn't broken or causing an issue.
