2010 Wrangler Skid Plates
Hi, I just purchased a 2010 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited. The skid plates suck! :-)
Anyone have any suggestions on where to start and what to buy?
I can't afford to do it all, so am thinking steering and oil pan for a start.
I'm not into anything too serious but I'm afraid to drive off road the way it is.

Re: 2010 Wrangler Skid Plates
Congrats on your new ride!
I'd take a long hard look under your Jeep, and note what's has the least amount of ground clearance.
The oil pan is tucked up higher then say the front and rear diffs. (its your diffs that will most likely hit that rock first).
You can always check our the armor section of

You'll find plenty of steel to help protect your JK.

Check out northridge4x4.ca and save lots on duties and shipping is free over $100. I have all stock skids and all has been fine they can take good hits. I would suggest a Evap skid or relocation if your playing on lots of rocks.
