Default 2008 JK rubicon lift kit information

I have been doing research on a 2-3.5 lift kit for my rig. Of course the dealers say they have the best kits, however when i look at feedback on some sites there is a lot of disparity on opinions on the kits. thought i would go to the source...jeep owners. looking for views on the best suspension kit to put on my rig. like i said, i am looking for 2" to 3" of lift.. Views?

I have 2.5" BB with 35s and it's all i need. However, if you are gonna wheel hard you may want a spring kit. Also make sure you get a complete kit that comes with the trackbar relocation bracket, extended bumpstops, longer stabilizer links, brakeline extensions and either new shocks or shock extensions as well as the spacers (or springs). I chose the TerraFlex kit with shock extensions and I am very happy with the product.

What i've got is 3.5 super flex form Rubicon Express, a rear dirve-shaft with double joints and adjustble rear trackbar, I don't recomend the relocation bracket because I saw a few broken differentiel brakets. it put to much strees on the braket. I used an adjustble one so could I center my rear diff because when U lift the jeep the rear diff goes to the right about 1 1/2 out.

That depends again on the kit you choose. The relocation bracket in the TerraFlex kit extends the frame bracket not the differential bracket. Well built and no signs of stress or breakage after 2 years..

Yo! Jeff _(OIIIO)_

I would inspect the the bracket on the differentiel not all of them but some have weak welds. I've read and seen this on many forum site.

No worries, thanks I regularly check everything out well during every service.
FYI the brackets that cause the diff bracket welds to break are the kits that have a relocation bracket that bolts to the Differential bracket. This causes undue stress due to extra leverage the bracket causes. The reason I mentioned the TF kit is that the relocation bracket bolts to the frame and DOES NOT cause this problem, There is no more stress on the diff bracket then there is in stock form without the lift.
