Default 2007 wrangler x air flow control stuck/sticks

Hi All,

Need some help here. I've got a 2007 Wrangler x. When changing the air flow through the vents with the control from anything to windshield defrost, it feels like it sticks and then finally lets go and moves to the proper position. It doesn't feel like its the control **** but the actual vent that isn't moving smoothly. Now it's become so that it won't move at all past feet/windshield position to just windshield. Any ideas what and how to fix this?

I just thought of an additional symptom, the vents "whistle" when on.

Thanks in advanced!
