selec trac vs qaudra drive
Hey guys,
Would i be correct in assuming that a t/c from a 93 ZJ quadra drive would be a direct swap into 98 ZJ with selec trac? Thanks

Probably not, nope. Quadradrive was only available on wj's...so I think you mean Quadra-Trac. Either way, you'll need to verify that the output shafts aren't different lengths, or spline counts.. Check out this link for lots more info on such a swap...

Alot of swaps involve disassembling the case, and swaping the input shafts, then ofcourse driveshaft lengths can be different. and splines can be different...
IIRC you have to swap the input shafts, but the spline count remains the same... I believe the 231 has the higher spline count

You'll have nothing but issues with a Quadra trac out of the 93. You want one from a late 95 to 98. Be very careful when buying one, the viscous coupler goes bad in these cases with age and will make your wheels bind in tight turns,
