Has anyone had any luck repairing Heated seats? I have found the wjjeeps article, that gives a good description, and part numbers

Has anyone tried it??? or has anyone taken their jeep in to get it fixed, and if so how much did that run?

Lots of people have had to replace them, it's a fairly common problem unfortunately. www.justforjeeps.com used to sell some aftermarket ones for that were supposed to be tougher not sure if they still do though.

 

The ZJ has them integrated into the seat themselves, i've been able to repair my passenger seat by soldering the leads that break when you get in and out of the vehicle... but the drivers seat i ended up giving up on... installed command start and run it for about 10 mins before i even THINK about getting into it LOL

was thinking about purchasing new elements and retrofitting them to the factory circuit (since that actually works
