Greater Toronto area
I recently moved to the GTA from Northern Ontario.
I've had multiple cylinder misfire problems with the 4.0L engine in my 2002 Grand Cherokee.A Scarborough dealer figured it out,and could be very right in saying it was caused by a remote starter installation spliced improperly to the onboard computer module. In the last month since that repair, the engine has run well.
To you veteran Jeep owners,do you recommend say a top 3 listing of Jeep repair shops in the GTA?
I now have 160,000 km on my Laredo, and the trade-in value warrants I keep it.Any warranty period is over.
Look forward to your suggestions.& thanks.

Re: Greater Toronto area
your in luck... i work at a dealership in the GTA area. and trust me i do NOT charge stander prices to any jeep owner that contacts me on here. standard rates at a dealership your looking at about 110-120 an hour even other places range from 75-95 an hour... i can do better than both of these...just make sure to contact me on here first so i can set it up for you

Holly sh.. You sure rip people off in Toronto in these dealership places, here its $85. per hour and you can find other garages charging $65. If you can buy your parts from your CTC store and DO the job yourself and save BIG bucks. Another idea is join an offroading club, there are always members willing to help each other in repair jobs.

Ouch Tommy why the Quebec bashing? Most of us that live here like it and we are proud to be living here. I moved from Alberta to have my kids grow up bilingual because it may mean a better future for them. The cost of living in Alberta is close to the GTA and yes it is less expensive here so that i can live in a nice house instead of having to pay through the hoop for cost of living. I don't know why you have such resentment towards some people from Quebec but most people I meet are very nice.

Tommy,
I am NOT getting into a p*ssing contest with you. While I feel your attitude is wrong, your personal biases should NOT be aired on this forum. This forum, as I understand it is about the enjoyment of the Jeep line. I find your anti-Canadian comments VERY distasteful. I have personal biases as well but I will never discuss or comment on them here. It's none of your business. So I say again, kindly keep your personal views and ignorant comments to yourself.
Jeep ownership and interest should transcend ANY race, colour or creed. It's about the vehicle man!
