External Window seals/weatherstrips
Has anyone tried replacing their external window weatherstrips?
The pieces that seal the bottom edge of the window, and often start to bubble with rust over time...
I've found replacement seals online, and a couple of forum threads referring to them, but cannot seem to find a write-up or 'how-to' on replacing them. They appear to be press-fit parts that would remove easily with a trim tool, but I'd love to hear from someone who has experience with the change....

Re: External Window seals/weatherstrips
They should just press into place. Unfortunately the metal inside to keep them rigid rusts over time. Mine are getting bad, my g/f's are even worse. To get all four at a dealership you're looking a round $80 a piece. Have seen on ebay all for $100. not sure of quality though. Thing is is once you start to take your existing off, they're pretty much done as the rust metal will literally come apart when you pull them off.
