I'm looking for a temp lift till i can afford a better lft and i was thinking spring spacers but are the good or bad ?there are differen't type's can anyone recommed any type? and i seen a sset that are just round puck looking spacers but were do the go on top of the spring were it seats or the bottom?and also i have a 5.2 with high k's on it whats the common life of the 5.2? thanks.

 

The spacers are pretty much all the same material so it really doesn't matter where you get them. They go on top of the springs.

 

i have a white 97 grande cherokee also...my 5.2L has 302 500 km on it...if you keep up with it, you will thank yourself...ive had to do the water pump and rad so far, while i was in there i threw on a new serp belt and tensioner...a nice tip while everything is apart and easy to get at...i love my jeep

 

im in the same boat, i just bought a 1994 GC and am looking at some 2" spacers for a small lift

 

! have a 2" lift in my 96 ZJ pretty easy to install. i got mine off e-bay i think it was $86 delivered bout 3 years ago.
