New user. 2006 Jeep Commander Limited
Hello everyone! I have had my Jeep since new but have yet to venture to a forum. Since there is no spot for the Commander I thought it would be best to post in the Grand Cherokee area.
I own a 2006 Jeep Commander Limited 4X4 V8 4.7L. She is loaded with every option including the Command View sunroofs DVD everything. Black on black but with cream leather seats.

The Commander is a gorgeous vehicle, especially with the Command View and that interior/exterior match up! Glad to see you are loving yours.

Sounds like a very nice vehicle. I'm curious as to what kind of fuel consumption you get. A friend of mine has one with the 3.7 and it's better on fuel than my zj, and before anyone says anything I do drive it like a grandpa.

I also drive like a granpa and the fuel consumption is beyond terrible. I love it but $180 a week in fuel is crazy. I get about 340km a tank and right now it lingers around 20L / 100km.

I was curious because I have a wk with a 4.7 and am getting about the same fuel economy as you. I just suck it up and think "sod it, it's so smooth and quiet and powerful, to say nothing about how good it looks on the driveway. I didn't buy it for the fuel economy, I wanted something safe and comfortable. The xj is out of my price range but I don't understand why they stopped making them.
