Best suspension kit for 33" tires
New to this site!
Have an 85 CJ7 that I've owned since 96. Been stored without starting since 2001. Has a 3" body lift and who knows what kind of suspension lift right now. Whoever owned it before just added some extra leafs, way too many in the back, and some springs around the rear shocks.
Gonna get the engine running first, but looking for opinions on the best, and most economical suspension kit I could put on to run 33" tires. I'd like to get rid of the body lift, (what is the purpose of a body lift anyways?).
Would like some good articulation to climb stuff, but I won't be doing any crazy *** rock crawling.
We just bought a 2010 4dr Wrangler Sahara, which is what gave me the bug to finally bring my toy back to life!
Would appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Best suspension kit for 33" tires
if you have mecanical skills i`d go for an SOA
you need 4 spring perch from mopar.... that you get welded on top of the housings .
have been like this for 16 years on mine
I drive 15,000 kilos a year on/off road ..never had an issue !
but it has to be done right
otherwise a 4" lift + 1" longer reinforced schackles is more then sufficient for 33"

Thank you bigdan!
I haven't been on here in a while, (obviously). Jeep never moved from my driveway this summer. Hoping to make it a winter project now.
Thanks Again
