Canada new '89 XJ owner

Just got my first Jeep and i'm hooked for life. I really want to turn my xj into a serious 4x4 that gets respect and appreciation. I have never had a truck i've loved so much. Any tips or guidance in my new venture would be awesome. I have tons of questions but lack local support till now. Thanks all xj owners for all your posts and info.

You want respect first learn to rokk your ride stock and pick up the parts to get it where you want it and fukk all the bone heads that look down at your rig. Jeeps help win a war can't say that for any Yotas, pathfinders

My 1st love affair was a used 89 xj also, enjoyed it to the hilt, modified it, still have a pic of it on my profile seems I can't let go. lol Now have a 03 tj modified a little. You'll enjoy it, handles great, much smoother ride than a tj, more space for junk too.If your looking for a good manual go to Cdn Tire and pu number 50010 Haynes Jeep Cherokee 1984 thru 1997 automotive repair manual. Their around $15.

My first "own" Jeep was a 1989 XJ, Pioneer loved that Jeep. A great pack it up and go out there ride. Enjoy it.
