WTB or Trade+Cash : JKU Power locks, Mirrors and Wiring
I have a set of doors i want to convert to power locks , power mirrors and would be willing to trade my manual locks, mirrors and wiring + Cash.
Would also be willing to buy the Mirrors, locks and harnesses if the price was reasonable.
PS looking for 4 doors for 2011-14 JKU (Mabye older will work, i will just need a pic of the wiring plug)
Post up or PM me if you can help.

...nothing available in the wreckers?
i would think you'd have some trouble finding someone willing to "downgrade" from power to manual locks...
am i correct in assuming that the JKU base is equipped for it and you simply need to hook up the harnesses from the doors?
...something else to think about is; lots of newer vehicles have parts such as window motors, etc that require programming after installation or they won't be recognized by your JK's computer. this is something BMW has done for a number of years, and others i'm sure, so i would check into that with your mechanic or dealer prior to buying your power locks set-up...
you may just wind up getting all the installation done, harnesses connected, etc., then when you press the button... nothing happens.
not that i'm saying this will be the case for you. in all fairness i am not sure if Jeep has jumped onto this particular bandwagon yet or not, but this is a problem that DIY'ers are starting to run into with greater frequency. it would be worthwhile knowing ahead of time...

Unless you add alot of modules it would be hard to convert manual full doors to power.
i wish a junker would respond, no one ever returns my calls

Re: WTB or Trade+Cash : JKU Power locks, Mirrors and Wiring
here's an option to consider...
Power Lock Kit with Keyless
you could maybe make something like this work on your half doors... would cost about $60/door, includes 2 remotes... fits your JKU.

Re: WTB or Trade+Cash : JKU Power locks, Mirrors and Wiring
Found the front wiring and locks.
Now just looking for locks and harnesses for the rear doors.
Also power/ heated mirrors if the price is better than NAPA (103.99)
[poke]Any one just finish a JK8 conversion ?
