New guy dashifter looking for help and say "hello"
Hello to you all, I am a Jeep fan since 1998 and will always have one. I have a question, cam I put 225-60-16 on my 02 Liberty? My 235-70-16 are not going to be good enough for the winter coming up especially as we are moving out to the parairies next month and there will be alot of extra K's put on in the next 2 months. I was going to sell my wifes tires from a previous vehicle but wanted to know before I list them if I could possibly use them. I don't really care if my speedo is out as I will use the gps as a reference but I need to conserve cash at the moment.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

All 16" will fit as long as the rim width is the same, but those are quite a bit smaller than your stock tires.
Used tires on a 4x4 isn't really recomended unless they all have the same tread wear as it can put some strain on your transfercase.

The replacement tires are all worn the same and almost brand new off our old AWD Dodge Caravan but the wife bought an Audi and when it was sold we had junky tires on it. I just hate to sell off those tires at a loss and buy new or used tires (which isnt my choice from strangers usually) for more money. I hate to disrespect my Jeep as A year ago I was looking at how big I can go but my workplace was taken over by US and shutdown for a new Mexican plant.
