New From Calgary
Hey all,
New to the forum and getting back into a Jeep soon. Sold my 07 Rubicon 18 months ago as I stopped working for a while and 3 vehicles didn't make sense at home. My Rubi was stock other than after marked Mopar Winch Bumper and a 9500lb Champion Winch. Took it out a half dozen times off roading at Waiperous and MacLean Creek and loved every minute of it. I have missed my Jeep since the day I sold it.
Here are a couple of pics of it at Waiparous
I am looking at picking up another one here in the near future and really don't know enough (yet) to decide on exactly what to get.
At this point I am looking at around 10K and my main criteria at this point is 6cyl. It would also be my daily driver. I am handy enough mechanically but never really worked on a Jeep. I have no issues turning wrenches.
So other than that I am a father of three kids, I am on a couple of cigar forums around the net as well (my other passion).
Some thoughts on what to do about buying a new (to me) jeep, I see tons out there but want to make sure I am buying a quality offroad machine.
I will likely post up another thread with a million questions after I have read through a few more things.
