Bonjour and welcome!!! :) I'm from Montreal and I'm in the process of buying a XJ (cherokee) I previously had a Patriot and a Liberty (not at the same time) I didn't do anything crazy with them because I was involved in tuning too. I'm kind of fed up with it and will spend more time and money playing off roading now. I'll let you know if i get that cherokee :)

P.S.: I speak french.

Ref on your looking for some place to offroad in winter. We just had our New Years Day run, which this year sucked more than normal in attendance and trails. But we have one in Feb or Mar. can advise later to Chertsey where we try to pass on a dirt road/trail and then in the later afternoon have a bbq, which usually brings quite a few especially if the weather is nice. I will post more on it when I hear.

Well, let me know if a stock Cherokee could follow you guys. I might be lifted by next summer, but we'll see....

Oh yes on this particular winter run in Chertsey, I think a good pair of winter tires would beat everyone..The trail is a usual dirt road in summer, a car could drive it..but in winter its another story.. we see have fun, get stuck, get pulled out, try to avoid driving into the ditch (as its hard to see them). No word on the date yet. Will advise
