Canada First time Jeep owner

Hello all,

Just purchased my first Jeep, a 2008 Liberty KK sport. Can't wait to mod my ride. First things on the list: Skidplates and towhooks. Next looking to get a leveling kit (The front end is quite a bit lower than the back). I live in the GVRD, anyone around here looking to go wheeling?

Anyone have any ideas on where I could get the skidplates (besides through Chrysler/Jeep cause I got a quote of $500+ just for parts not including installation)

Also same for the towhooks. (Mopar costs something around $200+ just for the front two! and another $300+ for the back one). Also read of someone using the 07's towhooks for the KK using the stock mounting holes. Can anyone verify this? (07's are a lot cheaper...like $150 - $200 for both front and back hooks). Thanks!

Welcome, try Mopar Jeep Accessories and Jeep Parts from JustForJeeps.com or national4wd.com or do a search for what your looking for.

Charging such whopping prices for tow hooks, but a new so called jeep with all that new fancy plastic (like the jk). I will stick to my 03 tj where plastic wasn't so readily used. I have a steel rear bumper (homemade) with a trailer hitch and intern'l modif. hook for the receiver and in front removed the plastic ends and mounted a steel plate for my winch and heavy duty hooks mounts with 3 #8 bolts on each end instead of two crappie-old-la's
