Need to source WJ Heater Core in Canada
Need to replace my leaking heater core in my '99 WJ Ltd. I can't seem to find an aftermarket one anywhere. Napa, Partsource, Car Quest all turned up nothing available. Dealer price varies from $349 to $400!!! Few online places in the states are showing prices varying from $120 to $170.
Any idea where I can find a reasonably priced heater core in Canada? I'm not interested in one from the wreckers. The amount of work involved in replacing it makes it not worth it to chance a used one from the wrecker.
Thanks,

Re: Need to source WJ Heater Core in Canada
Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't find any on eBay. The one on RockAuto is $114 + shipping which is $146 USD which right now is about $187 CAD. Since they only ship FedEx or UPS (as far as I can tell) the brokerage fees, duty etc will be at least another $50 CAD when it get to my door. So total price is looking around $240 to get it to my door.
This is still the best price I've found, but I'd really like to do better. Why the heck can't we get these aftermarket parts in Canada? The guy at Partsource told me that Chrysler hang onto these type parts and they don't release them to be made aftermarket or some sort of BS like that.
Oh well... just getting this part is only a fraction of the fun. Putting it in will be another story. I don't look forward to removing the entire dash to get at it!
