Default Engine Fan keeps running

hey there, I went offroading over the weekend and we did quite a few big mud puddles. After going through the last one, the engine fan turned on and has not turned off since, only turns off when I turn the engine off. I did take the hose to the rad and fan until the water ran clear and let the jeep run for a bit after. But the fan is still on. Any suggestions?? I have a 2007 4 dr Wrangler Unlimited X

Nope the engine temp stays the same and there are no other lights that flash or anything. No warning lights.

Tracey,

A number of things could be the issue but it seems that the fan relay has shorted causing the fan to stay on,....which could be worse.
Get it looked at by your local dealer or if you need a dealer near you that specializes in JKs, let me know, I will be happy to give you a referral.
